Heidi has served in leadership positions within higher education for twenty plus years, specifically in enrollment management. She has experience working at a variety of institutional types: large public research; small and medium private liberal arts; and, religious-based institutions. Additionally, Heidi has served and chaired multiple campus-wide committees and participated on scholarship committees for several outside universities and non-profit organizations.
Heidi most recently served eight years as the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU). While at NDMU, she supervised teams in traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid, scholarships, marketing, and the registrar’s office. In addition, Heidi’s experience and expertise includes strategic planning, the budgeting process, leadership transition, and staff training/development. Heidi has published articles in trade publications and has presented at both regional and national meetings on enrollment topics.
While in the leadership roles, Heidi has used innovative approaches and data-driven decision making to increase enrollment, strengthen academic profile, decrease tuition discount, and increase diversity. In addition, Heidi has served as an adjunct faculty member teaching anthropology and archaeology, the academic field of her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Currently, Heidi serves on the Board of Trustees at the John Carroll School and is the Owner/Principal of Leading Lights Consulting LLC, where she assists students and their families navigate the college admissions process.
